1. General information
The control that monitors and regulates all operating states of the Hydro
DOS
®
chlorine dioxide system
is accommodated in a separate cabinet inside the unit.
The below components are connected:
➢
Dosing pumps for hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium chloride solution (NaClO
2
).
➢
Control for chemical volume by intake lances (pre-empty/empty record).
➢
Water meter to control the drinking water volume in the ring line.
➢
Measuring and regulating unit to control the chlorine dioxide content.
➢
Fan for reactor board.
➢
Connection of an external water meter possible.
➢
Connection of an external circulation pump possible.
➢
Gas-warning / failure record gas warning.
➢
Output of volt-free alternating contact for transmitting a collective failure record to the BMS.
2. Indicating elements in control board
1 = Measuring and regulating unit to control
the chlorine dioxide content
2 = Signal lamp
“Power” (green) – illuminated if
mains supply is available
3 = Signal lamp
“Failure” (red) – illuminated if a
failure is evident (plant is out of operation)
4 = Signal lamp
“Operation” (green) – illuminated
if the plant is in operation.
5 = Button for plant
“ON” (green) – plant start
6 = Button for plant
“OFF” (red) – plant stop
7 = Selector switch for control with
- water meter (left position)
- sensor (right position)
- standard position
“0”
8 = ON/OFF (EMERGENCY-OFF)
- Mains supply
- Plant stop in an emergency case
9 = Cabinet locks (keys required)
