Registrazione catena trasmissione secondaria
La catena deve essere controllata, registrata e lubrificata in accordo con la
“Tabella di manutenzione”; questo per motivi di sicurezza e per prevenire una
usura eccessiva. Se la catena si consuma eccessivamente o risulta mal registrata,
cioè se rallentata o eccessivamente tesa, può fuoriuscire dalla corona o rompersi.
Registrazione catena
La catena è correttamente regolata quando, con il motociclo verticale e scarico,
si trova nella condizione evidenziata dalla figura.
Qualora ciò non avvenisse, occorrerà procedere alla sua registrazione operando
nel modo seguente:
- Allentare sul lato sinistro il dado di fissaggio del perno ruota (1);
- Allentare i controdadi (2) su entrambi i tendicatena ed operare sulle viti (3) per
ottenere il valore di tensione corretto (assicurarsi che entrambi i tendicatena
siano allineati sulla stessa tacca);
- Serrare i controdadi;
- Serrare il dado di perno ruota;
- Controllare nuovamente la tensione della catena.
Dopo la regolazione, controllare sempre l’allineamento della ruota e serrare a
fondo il perno della stessa.
Secondary transmission chain adjustment
Chain should be checked, adjusted and lubricated as per the "Maintenance
Chart" to ensure security and prevent excessive
wear. If the chains becomes badly worn or is poorly adjusted (i.e., if it is too lose
or too taught), it could escape from sprocket or break.
Dive chain adjustment
The chain is adjusted correctly when the motorcycle is in vertical position and
unloaded, as shown on figure.
If not, adjust the chain as follows:
- Loosen the nut (1) of the wheel axle;
- Loosen the nuts (2) and operate the adjusting screw (3) till the correct tension is
restored (make sure that both the chain streighteners are aligned on the notch);
- Tighten nut of the wheel axle and adjusting screw ;
- Check again the chain tension.
After the adjustment, always check the wheel alignment and tighten the wheel axle
fully.
