The membrane brake cylinders with
accumulator parking brake (Pic. 72 /1)
are installed on the rear axle (Pic. 72 /2).

In the event of a pressure failure, the pre-
tensioned spring is released, which
initiates automatic braking.

The accumulator brake membrane
cylinders can be manually released
(emergency release device) for repair
purposes.

WARNING

Activated emergency release
device

The braking system of the trailer
is out of action when the
emergency release device has
been activated.

People could be struck by the trailer and
run over.



Carefully secure the trailer against
rolling by using the wheel chocks.



Activate the emergency release
device only on even ground.

The brakes of the traction unit are not
sufficient to stop the vehicle combination.
