6 Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Impact on the System

After this alarm is generated, prompt maintenance is required.

Possible Causes



The communications cable is disconnected.



The ECC500 communications board is faulty.



The device is faulty.

Procedure

Step 1

Check whether the communications cable between the ECC500 and the device is
disconnected.



If yes, reconnect the communications cable.



If no, go to

Step 2

Step 2

Check whether the ECC500 communications board is faulty.



If yes, repair or replace the communications board.



If no, go to

Step 3

Step 3

Check whether the device is faulty.



If yes, repair the device.



If no, contact Huawei technical support.
