Relieve the press channel

The press channel is to be relieved:

a) before starting maintenance works

b) if the press channel has to be emptied or disassembled

c) if the pressing force of the press cylinder is not suffi cient to shear off the material or to
press the material into the tape repress channel. (shearing malfunction)

Press the "Open channel" push button

•

the press channel is relieved, that means the adjustment cylinder lowers.

Note

This is valid either for manual and automatic operation.
It's also possible to relieve the press channel during operation.
