Docking connector cable
NOTE:
The docking connector cable is included in the Cables/Connectors Kit, spare part number
744045-001.
Before removing the docking connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and
then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet or the
Security Jacket.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the Security Jacket.
4.
Remove the card reader cover and top cap (see
Card reader cover and Top cap on page 77
).
5.
If installed, remove the tablet from the Security Jacket (see
Card reader cover and Top cap on page 77
).
6.
Remove the front cover (see
Front cover on page 80
).
7.
Remove the system board (see
System board on page 82
).
Remove the docking connector cable:
1.
Turn the system board upside down with the top toward you.
2.
Remove the two Phillips PM1.9×3.4 screws (1) that secure the docking connector cable to the system
board.
3.
Remove the docking connector bracket (2).
4.
Remove the docking connector cable (3).
