Your diskette drive, hard 
drive, CD-ROM, CD-RW, 
DVD-ROM, and Zip drives 
are identified with icons 
and letters of the alphabet. 

An external drive is in a 
separate case and plugs into 
the outside of your computer. 

CD-ROM, CD-RW, and 
DVD-ROM drives are optical 
drives. If you have two optical 
drives, one of them is the 
primary optical drive while 
the other is a secondary 
optical drive.

You can also access the drives 
by going into Windows 
Explorer.
