System Lockup

Press the

Start/Reset

button on the computer for 4 seconds.

Use this method of shutdown only in the event of a

system lockup because it will cause Windows to run ScanDisk
and you will lose any unsaved data.

Using a Surge Protector

It is recommended that you
plug your monitor, computer,
and printer into a surge
protector. A surge protector
may protect your computer
from power dips and surges and
also from electrical storms. You
can purchase a surge protector
