Viewing switch information available for outbound advertisements
Syntax:
show lldp info local-device [
port-list
]
Without the
[
port-list
]
option, displays the global switch information and the per-port information currently
available for populating outbound LLDP advertisements.
With the
[
port-list
]
option, displays only the following port-specific information that is currently available for
outbound LLDP advertisements on the specified ports:
•
PortType
•
PortId
•
PortDesc
NOTE:
This command displays the information available on the switch. Use the
lldp config
<
port-list
>
command to change the selection of information that is included in actual outbound
advertisements. In the default LLDP configuration, all information displayed by this command is
transmitted in outbound advertisements.
In the default configuration, the switch information currently available for outbound LLDP advertisements appears
similar to the display in the following example.
