Dismissing an Existing SED
To remove the physical disk definitions from system use, issue the
dismisspd <PD_ID>...
,
where
<PD_ID>...
specifies the PDs, identified by integers, to be removed. For example, to
dismiss a PD with ID 1, issue the following command:
cli% dismisspd 1
After the system manager (sysmgr) dismisses the drive, it is cryptographically erased (provided
data encryption was enabled).

Dismiss and remove a drive from the system. This also performs a cryptographic
erase operation on the drive.
