Preparing For Use

This section gives you instructions for preparing the oscilloscope
module for use.

Power Requirements

All power supplies required for operating the oscilloscope are supplied
through the backplane connector in the mainframe.

Operating Environment

The oscilloscope module’s reliability is enhanced when operating the
module within the following ranges:

•

Temperature: +20

C to +35

C (+68

F to +95

•

Humidity: 20% to 80% noncondensing

Storage

Store or ship the oscilloscope in environments within the following
limits:

•

Temperature:

−

C to + 75

•

Humidity: Up to 90% at 65

•

Altitude: Up to 15,300 meters (50,000 feet)

Protect the module from temperature extremes which cause
condensation on the instrument.
