Lid and hook for calibration bag

In order to avoid malfunctions on the injector or fall sluice or on the fertiliser trans-
port and its distribution during the seed placement, all connections and the lid must
be closed pressure-tight.

NOTE

Air losses cause metering errors.

7.3 Fan overpressure

The hydraulic fan for overpressure generation is directly driven by the tractor hy-
draulics or by a PTO-shaft pump (option).
For direct drive, the tractor must be equipped with a flow control valve to control
the fan speed.

Overpressure is essential for the function of the single grain metering unit.
The overpressure is generated in the fan and builds up in hose assembly, the frame
and the metering units.

NOTE

All components of the pressure system must be absolutely leaktight. Leaks will
cause sowing faults.
