Piping procedure
Piping for sample inlet
Provide a valve to stop and control sample flow.
Take sample water from the constant flow line. If the flow rate is variable, select RA-10
over flow tank built-in or RA-20 with a constant flow valve to be constant flow through the
measurement cell.
Provide a filter cartridge (100
m optionally available) if the sample includes dirts or
suspended solid.
Use hard PVC pipe for sampling and the sampling length should be short as possible.
Sample water can not be frozen. If the sample might be frozen, provide a countermeasure
for freezing to the sampling pipe and measurement cell.
Piping for sample outlet (in the case of RA-10)
Proper piping procedure
(1) Make the piping end open-air and minimize the piping length so that no back pressure
is applied.
(2) If the distance to the drain becomes long, provide an open-air portion and horizontally
carry out piping with a pipe of 20 A or larger.
(3) Carry out piping at falling gradient with no horizontal piping at right angles (piping: 16
A or larger).
