Sensor
(1) Overflow lid
The overflow lid has holes for the installation of the pH and ORP electrodes. To clean the
inside of the overflow cell, remove this lid.
(2) Knurled screw
These screws fix the lid on the over flow cell.
Loosen the screws slightly to pick up the lid. The screws should not be removed to avoid
missing.
(3) Overflow cell
This cell is used to ensure a stable flow rate in the measurement cell.
Even if the flow rate at the sample inlet fluctuates within the specified range (1.3 L/min to
2.0 L/min), the flow rate in the measurement cell can be maintained at a constant level.
(4) Converter cable
This cable is connected to the converter (HR-200).
(5) Measurement cell
This cell is used to abrasively clean the sensor surface by shooting out beads while
exposing the cathode electrode surface to the sample at a constant flow rate.
(6) Stop valve (flow control valve)
This valve stops or controls sample flow to the residual chlorine sensor.
Note
For the overflow type RA-10, adjust the flow rate of the sample at 1.3 L/min to 2.0 L/min.
For the inline type RA-20, adjust the flow rate of the sample at 0.8 L/min.
Sampling pipe work should be according to the PVC piping for tap water.
The quality and residual chlorine ranges of the sample are specified in the specifications.
Do not supply water out of the specification. Sample water out of the specified quality can not be
measured accurately.
(7) Sample inlet
Supply sample water to this port. The inlet is TS16 (tapered socket 16) for PVC pipe.
