Shake the electrode to remove any air bubbles out of the 
membrane.

Perform the second calibration. 

Wait for a stable reading and perform the second calibration as described 
in the Meter Instruction Manual. 
When the second calibration is finished, the slope (%) of the electrode is 
displayed.

Check the slope (%) on the meter. 

For details on how to check the slope (%), refer to the Meter Instruction 
Manual. 

If air bubbles remain on the 
membrane, it may result in inaccurate 
measurement.

Do not hit the beaker with the 
electrode. It may result in inaccurate 
measuring.
