insing the electrode 

Make sure that no dirt and other foreign matters have 
adhered to the electrode before measurement. 
If dirt and other foreign matters have adhered to the 
electrode, rinse the electrode as described in the following 
procedure. 

1

Rinse the electrode with pure water.

Make sure that the membrane part has been 
well rinsed with pure water. 

2

Wipe off the moisture. 

Wipe off the moisture using soft and clean lint-free paper or cloth. 

3

Make sure that there are no dirt 
adhered to the area around the 
membrane. 

If dirt is adhered, the measurement may not be performed 
accurately. Rinse the electrode with pure water again.
