Report codes beginning with '0' represent
non-intrusion alarms (e.g., fire, panic, tamper,
medical, environmental [gas, sprinkler, waterflow,
heat, cold, etc]). The number following the '0'
typically represents the physical zone in the
installation, designated '1' through '8', where the
alarm took place. If zone numbers greater than 8
are used for such non-intrusion zones, their
numbers must be "mapped" into zone
designations 01 through 08 during the installation.
In this sample report:
1234 05
subscriber 1234 experienced a non-intrusion
alarm (e.g., fire) on Zone 5 (or any non-intrusion
zone mapped to 'Zone 5' [e.g., Zone 15, Zone 25,
Zone 35, etc.]).
additional examples:
01 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 1 (or 11, 21, 31, etc)
02 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 2 (or 12, 22, 32, etc)
03 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 3 (or 13, 23, 33, etc)
04 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 4 (or 14, 24, 34, etc)
05 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 5 (or 15, 25, 35, etc)
06 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 6 (or 16, 26, 36, etc)
07 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 7 (or 17, 27, 37, etc)
08 = non-intrusion alarm on Zone 8 (or 18, 28, 38, etc)
NOTE: As indicated by the above listing, when
mapping zones beyond the 8 specified
here, the digit following the initial zero will
correspond to the last (least significant)
digit of the zone number being reported.
ALARM CODES
FOR HOLDUP
(DURESS)
EVENTS:
09
HOLDUP
As above, the use of '09' represents a
non-intrusion alarm (here, specifically
holdup or
duress), and must be dedicated to zone 9. Holdup
or
duress alarms on other zones (e.g., those
using footrails, holdup switches, money clips)
must be "mapped" to Zone 9 during the
installation so they will be properly displayed and
processed.
additional example:
09
= holdup on Zone 9 (or any designated
holdup zone mapped to Zone 9)
ALARM CODES
FOR PANIC
EVENTS:
00
ALARM PANIC
The use of '00' may represent an audible panic or
silent holdup alarm, based on the installer's
preferences during the installation; such alarms
are often initiated at the keypad.
