PARAMETER 16:
ACK
Programming Procedures:
When
PARAMETER 15
is entered, [TROUBLE DELAY 05] will be
displayed with the [0] flashing. Any value between [00] and [99] seconds
may be programmed by using the
NEXT
key or the
MANUAL/PREVIOUS
key to change the first digit, as required.
Once this is done, use the
key to move to the second digit and, as before,
use either the
NEXT
key or the
MANUAL/PREVIOUS
key to change it, if
necessary. Subsequent movement between the two digits can be
accomplished through the use of the
key or the
key. The final result
must be a 2-digit number.
Default
:
PARAMETER 15
is defaulted to [05] seconds, which should be appropriate
for most situations.
Advancing to Next Parameter:
After programming
PARAMETER 15,
press the
N
key to advance to
PARAMETER 16
– the next parameter in
Category C
.
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed ([PARAMETER
NUMBER 15]) with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number. Press either:
•
1
then
6
, or
• then
key and
6
, or
• the
key
NOTE: When
the
is used, the
name
of the next parameter appears
immediately – not its
number.
ACK 00 MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS
Background:
[ACK] is the computer representation of
ACKnowledge,
an
ASCII
character
sent from a device receiving data back to the device that sent it, as a means
of informing the sender that the transferred data was valid and has been
accepted.
NOTE: See
PARAMETER 11
(on page 2-79) for information on
ASCII
coding and the
ASCII Character Set.
In terms of the
Automation System
and the CP-220A, an [ACK] is sent back
to the receiver each time the computer receives a valid string of data.
