REMEMBER!
To leave the Programming
Mode at any time, press the
Esc
key. Doing so will
return the CP-220A to its
normal operating mode.
Programming changes will
be stored automatically.
PARAMETER 14:
T-Header
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed ([PARAMETER
NUMBER 13]) with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number. Press either:
•
1
then
4
, or
• then
key and
4
, or
• the
key
NOTE: When the
is used, the
name
of the next parameter appears
immediately – not its
number.
T-HEADER 00 MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS
Background:
PARAMETER 14
specifies the
ASCII
character known as the
T-Header
(i.e.,
Time-Header
), which is sent from the CP-220A to the
Automation
System,
indicating that the
Date and Time
information supplied by the
CP-220A (see
PARAMETER 13
on the previous page) will immediately
follow. As such, the
ASCII
code producing the desired character is a
two-digit value that should be dictated by the
Automation System's
computer.
NOTE: See
PARAMETER 11
(on page 2-79) for information on
ASCII
coding and the
ASCII Character Set.
In keeping with the approach used in the CP-220A's factory programming –
in which the use of an
Automation System
is
not
assumed – [00], the default
for
PARAMETER 14
, disables the
T-Header
, and prevents it from being
sent.
NOTE: To properly use
PARAMETER 13,
PARAMETER 14
must be
programmed with a value between [01] and [FF].
Programming Procedures:
When entering
PARAMETER 14,
[T-HEADER 00] is displayed, with the
first [0] flashing. Any
ASCII
value between [01] and [FF] may be
programmed by using the
NEXT
key or the
MANUAL/PREVIOUS
key to
change the first character, as required. Once this is done, use the
key
to move to the second character. As before, use either the
NEXT
key or
the
MANUAL/PREVIOUS
key to change it, if necessary. Subsequent
movement between the two digits can be accomplished through the use of
the
key or the
key
.
