Time Terminator
Once this is done, use the
key to move to the second character. As
before, use either the
NEXT
key or the
MANUAL/PREVIOUS
key to change
it, if necessary. Subsequent movement between the two digits can be
accomplished through the use of the
key or the
key.

NUMBER 22] with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number. Press either:

Background:
PARAMETER 23
has been factory programmed with the
ASCII
code [14]
representing the character known as the
time terminator
, which serves as
the "marker" generated by the CP-220A to indicate the end of the
time/date
string it transfers to the computer (see
PARAMETER 13
on page 2-86).
PARAMETER 23
was meant to remain as factory programmed, and must
not be altered at any time.
