Genuine Honda accessories h ave been
specifically designe d for and tested on
this m otorcycle. Because the factory can
not test all other accessorie s , you are
pe rsonally respon sible for pro per selec
tion, in stallation , and use o f non-Honda
accessories. Always fo llow the guidelines
under Loading, and these:

Carefully inspect the accessory to
make sure it does not obscure any
lights, reduce ground clearance and
ban king angle, or limit suspension
travel, steering travel or control
operation .
2 . Large fork-mounted fairings or wind
shie lds, o r poorly d esigned o r im
properly mounted fairings can produce
aero dynamic force s that cause un
stable h and ling. Do not install fairings
that decrease coo ling air flow to the
engine .

Accessories w hich alter your riding
position by moving hands or feet away
from controls m ay in crease reaction
time in an emergen cy.
4.
Do not add ele ctrical equipment t hat
will exceed the motorcycle's electric
system capacity . A blown fuse cou

cause a d angerous loss of lights or
engine power at night or in traffic.
5. This motorcycle was not designed to
pull a side car or trailer. Handling may
be seriously impaired if so equippe d .

Any modification of t h e cooling sy
tern may cause overheating and serio.

which block or deflect air away from
