Coolant Recommendation
The owner must properly m aintain the
coolant to prevent free zing , overheating ,
and corrosion. Use only high quality
ethylene glycol antifreeze containing cor
rosion protection inhibitors specifically
recommended for use in aluminum en
gines. (SEE ANTIF R E EZE CONTAI N E R
LABEL).

The factory provide s a
50/50
solution of
antifree ze and w ater in this motorcycle .
This coolant solution is recommended
for most operating tem pe ratures and
provides good corrosion protection . A
higher concentration of antifreeze de
creases the cooling syst e m performance
and is re commended only when ad
ditional prote ction against freezing is
needed . A concentration of less than
40/

During
free zing temperatures, check the cooling
syst e m frequent ly and add higher con
centrations of antifree ze ( u p to a m axi

antifreeze) if required .
Inspection
The reserve tank is behind the right sid e
cover.
Check the coolant level in the reserve
tank ( 1 ) while the engine is at the normal
