CLUTCH
This motorcycle has a h y d ra u lically acti
vated clutch. There are n o adj u s t m e n t s t o
p e r f o r m but t h e clutch s y s t e m must b e
inspe c t e d periodically f o r fluid l e v e l a n d
' e akage. I f the c o n t r o l lever fre e p l a y
oecomes ex cessive a n d t h e m o t orcycle
creeps or stalls when shi ft e d into gear, or
if the clutch slips, causing accelera t i o n to
lag behind engi n e spe e d , there is pro b a b l y
air in the clutch s y s t e m a n d it must be

Flui d level :
Whenever the level is near t h e lower level
mark ( 3 ) on t h e reservoir, fluid must be
added. R emove the scre ws ( I ) , reservoir
cover ( 2 ) and diaphragm . Fill t h e reser
voir wi t h DOT 3 B R A K E F L U I D fro m a
�ealed container up to the u p p e r level
mark
(4).
Reinstall the diaphragm a n d
cover
(2).
Tigh t e n the screws ( I ) securel y .
