FINA L DRIVE OIL

Change the oil when specified by the
maintenance sched ule .

NOTE :

Change the oil with the final d rive

warm and the motorcycle on its center

stand to assure complete and rapid
draining.

1 . To drain the oil , re move the oil filler

cap (I ) and d rain plug { 2 ) .

2 . After the oil has completely drained,

che ck that the sealing washer (3) on

the d rain plug is in good condition and
install the drain plug.

Drain Plug Torque :

1 0 - 1 4 N · m ( 1 . 0 - 1 .4 kg-m ,

7 - 1 0 ft-lb )

3 . Fill the final drive with approximately

1 5 0 cc ( 5 . 1 o z ) of the recommended

oil.

Make sure the recommended oil is
filled u p to the lower edge of the
inspe ction hole ( 4 ).

4. Inst all the oil filler cap .
