AIR CLEANER
The air cleaner should be serviced at
regular intervals (page
54).
When riding
in
dusty areas, more frequent service may be
necessary.
l . The fuel tank should be raised
ONLY
with a partially filled tank. The proper
fuel level can be determined by look
ing directly down through the filler
neck into the tank ; fuel should not
cover the top of the tank backbone.

Remove the fixing bolts ( 3 ) from each
side of the fuel tank.

Lift the fuel tank and prop
it
up with
the tank arm

Remove the two screws ( 5 )
and
the
air
cleaner cover (6).
