IMPORTANT:
The Feature Output Circuit Correlations Enabled must be O N for Indicating Circuit Correlations
to operate (see the Co nfigu re F eatu res sec tion), otherwise a ll Indic ating Circ uits will be “ Co m m on Al ar m” ; they
will all activate with any Input Circuits configured as Ala rm s . Relay Circuits are always Enabled for Correlations.
Also note tha t if the System is configured as Two-Stage , any Secon d Stage / Ge neral Alarm (cau sed by the Au to
General Alarm Timer, the General Alarm button on the Front Panel or Remote Annunciator, or by a Gen eral Alarm
Initiating Circuit) condition activates
AL L Ind ica ting C ircu its wh ethe r they are C orre lated or no t.
10.9 CONFIGURING CIRCUIT CORR ELATIONS:

Input C ircuits = Initiating Circuits (Detection Zone s).
Ou tput C ircuits = Indicating C ircuits (Signal Zones), and Relay C ircuits .
W ith the Fa ctory D efault C onfigu ration, all Ou tputs are con figured to activ ate w ith any Inpu ts configured as A la rm s.
If Output Circuit Correlations are enabled (see the Configure Features section), Outputs must be configured to one
or more Inputs to activate at all. This configuration is referred to as a Correlation. There are two configuration options;
correlated indiv idua l Ou tputs to one or m ore In puts , or co rrela ting in dividua l Inpu ts to on e or m ore O utpu ts. Output
Cir cui ts may be correlated to as many Inpu t Circ uits as desired, and vice-versa.
Co rrela tion b y Inp ut C ircu it:
& Set Config DIP Switch to 0100 0001; pause for about three seconds.

One and only one Inp ut C irc uit’s (Initiating Circuit / Detection Zone) Disconnect Switch is turned ON (up
positio n). This function will no t operate if more than one Input Circuit Disconnect Switch is turned ON at one
time. The se lected Input Circuit’s Yellow Trouble LED will light, as well as the Yellow Trouble LED’s of any
Output Circ uits (Indicating Circuit / Signal Zone, or Relay Circuit) that are already Correlated to that Input. If
only a check of Correlations is desired, then this is the only step required, and you may step through from one
Inpu t Circ uit to anoth er, one at a time.

If it is de sire d to set ne w C orre lations for the selected Input C ircuit, then the Disconnect Switch for desired
Output Circuits are turned ON (up position). The
Yellow Button is pressed for one second; after a pause the
Yellow Tro uble LED ’s for the new ly C orre lated Ou tput C ircu its w ill be lit.
Co rrela tion b y O utpu t Circ uit:
