10.2 ENTERING CON FIGURATION MO DE:
The System enters Configuration Mode whenever any of the Configuration DIP Switches 2 to 8 (Switc h 1 is used
to enter W alk-Tes t Mode) are s et to a “1" or On position (top position). The TEST / CONFIG MODE and COMMON
TROUBLE LED ’s will turn on, an d the buzze r will sound. T he B uzzer m ay be s ilence d at this point.
The F ire Alarm C ontrol Pa nel is not op erating as a F ire Alarm S ystem wh ile in Configu ration Mod e !!
If there is no activity (no buttons pressed or switches changed) for one hour, the System will return to normal operation,
but w ill rem ain in trouble.

10.3 EXITING CO NFIGURATION MO DE:
To exit Configuration Mo de , after all desired changes are made, all Configuration DIP Switches must be returned
to a “0" o r Off po sition (b ottom pos ition). W ait about five seconds, then press the white System Reset button. The
System should now be back in Normal Operation .
10.4 FACTORY DEFAULT CONFIGURATION:
The system as shipp ed fro m the fac tory is configured with no Adder Modu les , and with certain set defaults. The
