4 Controller states
4.1 Status diagram FlexRay controller
After a FlexRay controller interface has been requested for the first time, the con-
troller is in an un-initialized "open" status.
The operating mode is configured via
Init() . The controller is in the "init/stopped"
status. To put the controller in "running" status call Start() . In this status FlexRay
messages can be received and retrieved via GetMsg() . To get back in "in-
it/stopped" status call Stop() . In this status messages still available can be read
out of the receive FIFO.

The methods
FormatError() , GetInfo() and GetStatus() can be called from any
state.
