The asynchronous mode flag is not provided by MFR4200 but by the asyn-

chronous receiver. The flag is mapped into a free region of the
AFBMBSSVR.

The asynchronous mode flag is not provided by MFR43x0 but from the
asynchronous receiver. The flag is mapped into MBSS2.

*3)

The invalid header CRC flag is not provided by the hardware but from the
UCI. If an asynchronous frame is marked as an invalid frame (VFA and VFB
not set) the UCI calculates the header CRC of the received frame header
(SYF, SUF, FID and PLDLEN). If this calculated header CRC is not equal to
the received HDCRC, this flag is set by the UCI.
