Abnormality of fan motor protection (DC fan motor) for ES Series

•

The RUN LED flickers and “ALARM” is displayed on the remote control switch.

•

The unit number, the alarm code and the unit code are alternately displayed on the set temperature section. The unit
number and the alarm code are displayed on the display of the outdoor unit PCB.
– The fan motor stops when the revolution output from the fan motor is 20 rpm for RAS-(2-3)HVRN(1)(E)(S) / 10 rpm

for RAS-(4-10)H(V)RNS(1)E or lower during 30 seconds after the fan motor activation.

– The alarm is indicated when the abnormality is repeated 4 times for RAS-(2-3)HVRN(1)(E)(S) / 10 times for RAS-

(4-10)H(V)RNS(1)E within 5 minutes after the first detection.

N O T E

•

In the case that the fan motor does not run even the PCB1 is replaced, replace PCB5.

•

Check to ensure that DC Fan Motor is checked according to the item
