9.5 Checking the System Load by Using Performance Monitor

The Performance Monitor tool that comes with Windows

is used to monitor the usage of the CPU and memory.

Use this tool when, for example, you want to analyze the system load.

The following shows how to start Performance Monitor.

(The displayed image is Windows

10, but is similar to other OSs.)

1. Click Start, Control Panel, System and Security, and Administrative Tools.

2. Double-click Performance Monitor.
