(3) Recommended EXT cable specifications

1. The following cable is required for connections.

To connect a cable shield, in addition to the cable, you must provide a shielded grounding bar for
dedicated use with shielded wire connections.

2. User-made cables must meet the following specifications:

Exterior view of the external contact cable and connector

#: The shielded grounding of the cable must firmly contact the conductor of the plug case (frame ground).

(Do not connect a GND pin of the EXT port to the shielded grounding, because all GND pins are signal
ground. If you do so, the equipment might malfunction.)
