Chapter 4: Software Interface

Exicor GEN5 User Manual

To define a circular scan:

1. Use the arrow keys to move the laser beam to the edge of the sample. Click

“P1".

2. Use the arrow keys to move the laser beam to another point on the edge of

the sample. Click “P2".

3. Use the arrow keys to move the laser beam to another point on the edge of

the sample. Click “P3".

Once the 3 points are defined, the Exicor software will trace out a circle showing the
scan area. The following figure shows an example of a circular scan that has been
defined.
