Instructions for Use

NOTE:

Once the unit is plugged in or
the

button is pressed, the

following will show on the
screen:

The Model number.

The total number of
hours the device has
been used.

The software revision.

NOTE:

To temporarily illuminate the backlight on the display, press any one of
the six

Down

arrow buttons.

CAUTION:

Caution

—Do

not

run the Air Pulse Generator without the inflatable

garment and Air Hoses attached. Equipment damage could occur.

Connect each Air Hose as follows:

Non-Locking Hose

Connect the Air Hose to the
Air Hose Connector Port on
the front of the Air Pulse
Generator.

Slightly twist the Air Hose
into the Air Hose Connector
Port to help secure the Air
Hose in position.

Locking Hose

Align the mark on the Air
Hose with the corresponding
mark on the Air Hose
Connector Port on the front
of the Air Pulse Generator.

Turn the Air Hose to the
locked position.

If the patient has a Hickman
catheter, portacath, and/or G-tube, for the patient’s comfort, it may
help to use contour foam (P/N 300177000) around the port site. Install
the foam as follows:
