4.12 Air Compressor
Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures

4.12 Air Compressor

Tools required:

T25 Torx®

screwdriver

Removal

1. Set the brakes.

2. Raise the bed to the high position.

3. Raise the head section to the highest position.

SHOCK HAZARD:

Unplug the bed from its power source. Failure to do so could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.

4. Unplug the bed from its power source.

Remove the screws (A) securing the cover (B) to the bed (see figure 4-15
on page 4-35).

6. Remove the cover (B).

Remove the two screws (C) securing the electronics cover (D) to the
electronics module (E).

8. Remove the electronics cover (D).

9. Disconnect the power cable (F).

10. Disconnect the air hose (G).

11. While supporting the air compressor (H), remove the two screws (I) lower

the compressor (H).
