10. The system will reboot when finished rewriting the firmware.

To load the firmware via the serial port:

1. Connect the LiteStar II Air Power Cable (Part No. 054-0040) to 

the “Power” connector on the bottom of the LiteStar II Air 
controller.

2. Attach the LiteStar II Air Power Adapter Cable (Part No. 054-

0034) to the end of the LiteStar II Air Power Cable (Part No. 
054-0040).

3. Connect one end of the LiteStar II Air GPIO Cable (Part No. 

051-0059) to the “AUX” connector on the bottom of the 
LiteStar II Air controller. 

4. Connect the other end of the GPIO cable to the “COM” port on 

your computer.

5. Run “CANLOADER” on your computer. You will see the 

following screen:

6. Select the COM port on your computer that the serial cable is 

connected to.
