7: Setting Advanced Features
Using e-Dif: Single Session/No Reference Point - Follow this
procedure each time you start a new field which will be completed
in a single run, in under 40 minutes.
1. Turn on your LiteStar II Air system if it is not yet turned on.
2. If e-Dif is selected as your differential type, you will see the
Waiting for GPS screen followed by the Waiting for e-Dif screen
upon powering on LiteStar II Air.
3. The Waiting for e-Dif screen will appear for
approximately 8 minutes while LiteStar II Air tracks
available satellites and sets an initial reference point.
4. Once e-Dif is ready to use, LiteStar II Air will switch to the
Settings OK? start-up screen.
5. LiteStar II Air will prompt you to set your A, B, and if applicable
(depending on your selected pattern), C points.
6. Once you have set your A, B, and C points for the selected
pattern, LiteStar II Air will switch to the main guidance screen.
