6: Using Navigation Marks & Waypoints

AVIGATING

TO

A

ARK

- When navigating to a waypoint, LiteStar II Air provides guidance
to the exact GPS coordinates. However, when navigating to a mark,
LiteStar II Air provides guidance to the swath that was active when
you made the mark.

Waypoint Guidance - When navigating to a waypoint, LiteStar II
Air calculates the shortest distance between where you recalled the
waypoint and the point where you saved it - a straight line of
course!

In addition to Lightbar guidance, the controller’s Navigation
screen will show the bearing (heading angle relative to True North)
and exact cross-track distance to the point to which you are
navigating.
