ASSEMBLY AND ANCHORING
6-16
MSHF • 7295-026A
8.
Raise the platform towards the top of
the mast element and repeat the
procedure until another element must
be assembled. Plan the procedure
so that, when an anchor must be
fitted, the loading of material and
mast elements is a minimum.
9.
Ensure that anchors are placed at the
specified intervals.
10.
Repeat this working method until the
mast has reached the required
height. The last element assembled
must always be the red top element.
The maximum specified height must
not be exceeded.
11.
If a crane is available on the building
site, the mast can be more quickly
assembled. Up to five mast elements
can be assembled on the ground and
then raised into position with the
crane.
12.
The mast must not extend too far
above the uppermost anchor (See
chapter 1). To achieve good stability,
it is always better to place an anchor
as close to the top of the mast as
possible.
13.
Assemble the mast cover panels
from the platform and secure them.
14.
The assembly is now complete. The
assembly must now be tested as
described in section 7.1
