Commissioning
➜ The three light conductors at the front for the indicator LEDs
of the front cover must be aligned with the bottom edge of the
S-box.
➜ The S-boxes are held in the S-rack magnetically.
Power supply
Operate the system only with the adapters supplied and the corre-
sponding power supply cords.
The connector of the power adapter for the S-rack is polarized and
can only be inserted in one position (flat side facing downwards) in
the low-voltage socket of the S-rack.
The low-voltage socket for the power supply is at the back of the S-rack.
The optional portable PC, type: MacBook Air of Apple Inc. Cupertino CA is supplied with
power via one of the USB-C connections located on the side of the device.
➜ Connect the connector of the power adapter supplied to the power connection
socket on the S-rack first.
➜ Connect the power supply cord supplied to the power adapter.
➜ Connect the power supply cord to a properly grounded power socket.
➜ For further information on the power supply for the MacBook Air, refer to the
Apple Inc. documentation supplied with it.
As soon as the S-rack is equipped and supplied with power, a
connection can be made via the LAN interface.
