Harmonic MediaGrid Release 4.1

Racking Precautions

IMPORTANT:

Use only the power cables provided by Harmonic.

IMPORTANT:

The ContentServer and ContentStore 4000 series must be connected to reliable grounding

before applying power.

IMPORTANT:

The ContentServer and ContentStore 4000 series will not receive sufficient airflow or

cooling if it is operated with any of the front or rear modules missing. It is essential that every module bay
is filled either with a module or a blank module.

Unpacking the System

Before removing the subsystem from the shipping carton, visually inspect the physical condition
of the shipping carton. Exterior damage to the shipping carton may indicate that the contents of
the carton are damaged. If there is any damage, photograph the packaging for future reference
before opening.
