Adjust separation clearance
1. Clockwise revolve the adjust screw

one loop, be
careful not to rotate too much.
2. Counterclockwise revolve the adjusting screw

slowly, until feel a slight resistance and stop.
3. At this position as the start point, clockwise revolve the
adjust screw

1/8 loop (45 degrees), then tighten the
locking nut

NOTE: When tightening the locking nut

, use a
screwdriver to fix the adjusting screw

to avoid rotation
with the locking nut

.
4. After the adjustments, test drive the motorcycle and
check if the clutch is running normally. When the foot
starts the motorcycle, the engine should start normally
and the clucth dose not slip.
During the shifting
process, the shift should feel smooth.
B WARNING
If the clutch can not be properly adjusted or the
clutch does not work properly, contact the dealer.
CARBURETOR
Undisturbed carburetion is the basis of the performance
you ought to expect of your engine. The carburetor is pre-
set at the factory for the best carburetion. Do not attempt
to alter its setting. There are two items of adjustment,
however, under your care: engine idle speed and throttle
cable play.
Adjustment of idle speed
1. Start the engine, keep it running
at idle till fully pre-heated.
2. After the engine has been pre-
heated, release the throttle, turn
the adjusting screw to right and
left to keep the engine revolving speed between 1400–
1600 rpm.
B CAUTION
Adjustment the engine idle speed should be done
when the engine has been fully pre-heated.
THROTTLE CABLE PLAY
0.5–1.0 mm
1. Remove the rubber bush(s) along the throttle cable.
