Operation
The appliance’s functions have been facto-
ry-tested. It is completely normal for there to
be some traces of ground espresso in the
grinder and minimal water residue in the ma-
chine. In any case, it is guaranteed that this
appliance is new.
Suitable location
– The standing surface must be firm, hori-
zontal, dry, waterproof and hardwearing.
– The appliance shall not be placed in a cab-
inet when in use.
– The appliance’s rubber feet can cause
stains on sensitive surfaces. To protect
sensitive furniture surfaces, you can place
a waterproof and heat-resistant pad under
the appliance.
– Place the appliance out of the reach of chil-
dren.
– Do not set up the appliance directly beside
a cooker or other heat source.
– When laying out the mains cable, ensure
that it will not be damaged by sharp edges
or through contact with hot surfaces (e.g.
electric hobs).
– The appliance could be damaged if the wa-
ter inside it freezes.
Do not place the appliance in a room
where the temperature may fall below
freezing.

1. Insert the drip tray (5) and lay the drain
grid (7) on top of it.
2. Place the portafilter holder for grinding
(17) onto the bracket fixture.
3. Wash out the water tank with (2) rinsing
water. Then rinse it off with fresh water.
4. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold tap wa-
ter. Insert the filled water tank back into
the machine.

5. Push the filter insert (d) you wish to use
into the portafilter (e) until it can go no
further.
