MINIVATOR SIM INSTALLATION MANUAL

• None

Testing

ALL VARIANTS

Sit on the lift and drive up and down the track

to ensure that the footplate clears the nose of
the risers along the complete length of the track.

Check that the lift charges correctly:

Drive the lift to the top charge contacts

and ensure that ‘-’ shows in the diagnostic
display.

Drive the lift to the bottom charge

contacts and ensure that ‘-’ shows in the
diagnostic display.

Check the key switch operation

Turn the key to the off position and ensure

that the lift will not drive – ‘0’ should show in
the diagnostic display when you try and drive
the lift with the key switch in the off position.

Turn the key switch back on.

Ensure that all of the safety edges on the power

pack are functioning

(Figure 61)

Drive the lift in the up direction.

Press the top safety edge

– the lift should stop.

Drive the lift in the down direction.

Press the bottom safety edge

– the lift should stop.

Check the safety edges on the footplate

and front chassis

(Figure 62)

Drive the lift in the up direction.

Press the upstairs edge of the footplate

– the lift should stop.

Drive the lift in the down direction.

Press the downstairs edge of the footplate

– the lift should stop.

Drive the unit in the down direction.

Press the underside of the footplate

– the lift should stop.

Drive the lift in the down direction.

Press the underside of the front chassis

– the lift should stop.

POWER FOOTPLATE ONLY

For arm operated versions:

Operate the switch under the arm.

The footplate should lift.

Operate the switch in the opposite direction.

The footplate should lower.

For seat operated versions:

Lift the front seat squab.

The footplate should lift.

Lower the front seat squab.

The footplate should lower.

MANUAL SWIVEL ONLY

Check the swivel interlock:

Drive the lift in the up direction.

Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.

Drive the lift in the down direction.

Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.
