Illuminator User Manual

Page 9

Web Server

A sophisticated web server is built into every Illuminator.

It allows users to communicate with the Illuminator using the familiar “Internet surfing”
approach. You can use any computer regardless of type and operating system to connect to
an Illuminator. NO SPECIAL SOFTWARE is required.

The web server is used for:

1.  Setting up an Illuminator for the first time
2.  Setting up clubs
3.  Controlling floodlights
4.  Monitoring inputs
5.  Monitoring and resetting alarms
6.  Downloading reports and logged data
7.  Software upgrades

All operations are performed by accessing simple web pages.
