Automatic Daily E-mail Reports
Illuminator can be set up to automatically send daily e-mail reports. Each e-mail has a
spreadsheet file attached to it. The file contains all data logged over the previous day(s).
Reports can be sent to up to three different recipients. Up to three attempts will be made to
send a daily e-mail report. Unsuccessful attempts are logged. Successful attempts are not
logged.
You can also choose the maximum period between daily reports. The period is settable
between 0 and 15 days. “0” will cause a report to be sent every day, regardless of how much
data has been logged. A non – zero setting will cause e-mail report to be sent only if the
floodlights have been used in the previous day.
However, even if there is no significant data logged, a report will be sent when the maximum
number of days between reports is reached.
To configure the reports, access the “Change Setup” page as described in “Setting up an
Illuminator for the first time” earlier in this document. Click “Reports”.
NOTES:
1. Automatic report function requires that both Network and E-mail option be configured
correctly. Please refer to “Setting Up Network Parameters” and “Setting Up E-mail
Parameters” earlier in this document for additional instructions.
2. Automatic report files are named as follows:
(first 8 characters of Location)_(date).csv
Example:
Wingham-Field_291205.csv
Blanks in the Location part of the filename will be replaced by ‘-‘ characters
