PRESSURE GAUGE

ont panel and lower the controls fascia panel.
Refer to section 9.3.

Drain the boiler
. Refer to section 9.12.

Disconnect the pr
essure gauge capillary from the water manifold.
d)
Disengage the pr
essure gauge from the fascia panel, and
remove the gauge.
e)
Fit the new pr
essure gauge and re-assemble in reverse order.
f)
Re-commission the system. Refer to section 5.

AUTO AIR VENT

a)
Remove the casing fr
ont panel and sealed chamber front
panel. Refer to section 9.3.
b)
Drain the boiler
. Refer to section 9.12.
c)
Disconnect the plastic pipe fr
om the top of the air vent, and
unscrew the vent from the heat exchanger header.
d)
Fit the new air vent and r
e-assemble in reverse order.
e)
Re-commission the system. Refer to section 5.

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

Remove the casing fr
ont panel and lower the controls fascia
panel. Refer to section 9.3.

Drain the boiler

Undo the two union connections and r
emove the valve.
d)
Fit the new valve and r
e-assemble in reverse order.

Re-commission the system. Refer to section 5.

MAIN HEAT EXCHANGER

Remove the casing fr
ont panel. Refer to Fig. 31
b)
Remove the sealed chamber fr
ont panel (4 screws).
e)
Remove the combustion chamber fr
ont panel (9 screws). Take
care not to damage the insulation.
f)
Remove the two securing scr
ews and lower the controls fascia
panel.
g)
Disconnect the thr
ee leads from the spark and detection
electrodes and disengage the grommets from the combustion
chamber bottom panel.
h)
Remove the four scr
ews securing the burner to the gas
manifold and slide the burner out of the combustion chamber.
i)
Close the CH flow and r
eturn isolating valves and drain the
appliance.
j)
Disconnect the plastic pipe fr
om the automatic air vent.
k)
Bend the r
etaining clips down and carefully remove the LH
combustion chamber insulation panel to reveal an access hole
to the heat exchanger union connections.
l)
Using a suitable spanner
, undo the heat exchanger union
connections from inside the combustion chamber.
m
)
Lift the heat exchanger clear of the two pipes and remove by
sliding it forwards.
n)
T
ransfer the automatic air vent to the new heat exchanger.
o)
Fit the new heat exchanger and r
e-assemble in reverse order.
Ensure that all joints and seals are correctly re-fitted and re-
commission the system using the procedure in section 5.1.
