the control panel.

e)

Fit the new clock and r

e-assemble in reverse order.

To replace components in sections 9.13 to 9.21 it is necessary to

drain the boiler and/or the DHW circuit. There may be some

slight water spillage, so electrical components should be

protected.

Refer to section 5.

a)

CH:  Close the CH flow and r

eturn isolating valves. Attach a

hose to the drain point and open the drain valve.

b)

DHW

: Close the cold water inlet valve and open all DHW

taps to empty the DHW circuit.

DHW thermistor: Close the cold water inlet valve and open all

DHW taps to empty the DHW circuit.
CH/O’Heat thermistor: Close the boiler flow and return isolating

valves and drain the boiler’s CH circuit, refer to section 9.12.

d)

Disconnect the electrical lead fr

om the thermistor.

e)

Unscr

ew the thermistor from the manifold.

f)

Fit the new ther

mistor and re-assemble in reverse order.

Ensure that the copper washers are correctly fitted to provide

a sealed joint.

ont panel and lower the controls fascia

panel. Refer to section 9.3.

b)

Remove the DHW heat exchanger

. Refer to section 9.14.

The plastic regulator is located in the top LH entry port of the

heat exchanger

c)

Fit the new r

egulator, ensuring that it is the correct way round.

d)

Re-assemble in r

everse order and re-commission the DHW

circuit. Refer to section 5.

cuits, refer to section 9.12.

d)

Remove the two spring clips securing the bypass pipe and pull

out the pipe.

e)

Remove the two socket scr

ews securing the heat exchanger to

the water manifolds and push the heat exchanger downwards

to release it.

f)

Remove the water flow r

egulator, noting its position and

orientation.

g)

Fit the water flow r

egulator to the new heat exchanger.

h)

the new heat exchanger and r

e-assemble in reverse order.

i)

Re-commission the heating and hot water systems.  Refer

to section 5.
