Advanced Operations

Setting wavelength

Press the

key in the Options menu to select the wavelength

range and the wavelength step.

Press the upper left key to open the numeric keypad and select
the minimum wavelength. Press

to confirm.

Press the upper right key to open the numeric keypad and
select the maximum wavelength. Press

to confirm.

Note:

Do not select the same wavelength for minimum and maximum.

Highlight the required wavelength step.

Note:

Scan recordings of high resolution data take a longer time than

recordings of low resolution data.Selecting a larger step allows the
instrument to scan faster, but decreases the resolution of the collected
data.

Scale & Units

Scale:

In the automatic scaling mode, the y-axis is automatically adjusted so that the total scan is

displayed.
The manual scaling mode allows sections of the scan to be displayed.

Units:

Choice of absorbance or transmittance.
