ORBISPHERE
There are three standard views available - the Table Window view, the Graph Window
view or a combination of both. The view defaults to the last one you selected (or the
combined view on the first access). The combined view is illustrated in
Fig 6-1 .
Detailed information on how to set up and format the displays in the Table and Graph
Windows can be found in
“Table Menu” on page 67 and “Graph Menu” on page 70 .
Use the vertical slider bar for a full screen view in either the table or graph format. For the
combined view, the slider bar can be positioned centrally. When the cursor is positioned
over the slider bar, the

symbol will appear. Hold down the cursor button and move
this bar to the left for the graph format, or to the right for the table format. Selecting the
Split
option in the
View
menu will achieve the same result, but the slider bar will be
automatically selected for you. Just move it with the mouse to where you want it
positioned, and press the left mouse button.
You must now select which toolbars and menus you want to work with, by clicking once
in either the Table or Graph Window. If you have selected the Table Window, then the
Graph Toolbar and Graph Menu options will be unavailable. The opposite is true if you
select the Graph Window. Full details of the menus and toolbars are available in
“Table
Menu” on page 67 and “Graph Menu” on page 70 .
6.2.1 Table Window
There are three modes of cursor operation available from the
Cursor Toolbar
in the
Table Window. The Cursor Toolbar button indicates the mode that is currently active.

Normal mode
In this mode, the cursor is used to simply select areas and/or rows of
the table. Subsequent commands that operate only on a part of the
table will operate on the selected part (e.g. Table Copy command).
To select normal mode, ensure that neither button is depressed (if a
button is depressed, then click it).
